Harry returns for his seventh year at Hogwarts happy to be back at school after all the drama of the war. Draco has also returned, though he'd very much like to curl into a ball and die. Despite his wants Draco knows he needs to thank Potter and Harry knows he needs to thank Malfoy, but when they wake up together in the room of requirement will either know what to say?

A Drarry fanfic, set in their sixth year. Harry is struggling to come to terms with his new found sexuality, and the chance to come out to his best friends is never arising. He confides to an unlikely alliance, Draco Malfoy, and the two help each other through their individual struggles. But not everything has a happy ending. No copyright stuff intended etc etc. I have kept this as close to JK Rowling's original story as possible, but some bits I have changed or added to fit in with my ideas. Harry decides to prank Draco after a game of Quidditch. Desiring for Draco to go mad, he waits for him in an empty classroom. However, as soon as he realizes Draco wants to vent his anger in different way, he appears to be rather withdrawn and insecure - despite the fact he highly likes it. Does this mean Draco has more guts than Harry, after all? They decide to create a distance between them. After not seeing each other for months, they meet by utter chance. They are tensed, confused, and ready for a fall now school starts again. How will they manage, now shadows are trailing behind them? Draco, obnoxious and knocked with daddy issues. Harry, now insecure and put on edge - knowing he's the chosen one. EDIT: The first few chapters were written when I was around the age of 13. My English has developed over time.
