Kun on kahdeksantoista ja tulevaisuus auki, kasa kavereita ympärillä ja kirjoitukset aiheuttamassa omanlaistaan stressiä, sitä vähiten kaipaisi uusia ympyröitä sotkemaan tuttua kuviota. Siitä huolimatta Iivo löytää itsensä seisomasta Kiuruharjun pienen kylälukion aulasta sinä lokakuisena aamuna. Vaatimattoman kyläpahasen kuviot kuitenkin yllättävät.
