This is a story that I have been wanting to write for a while. I will be uploading chapters regularly unless real life events prevent me from doing so. Riley Crayton was an average teenage girl, if average teenage girls had to survive a zombie apocalypse. Just as she is about to end her visit to her uncle, Riley is trapped in a quarantined Atlanta. The government is in a panic as they struggle to develop a cure for the rapidly spreading epidemic. In the meantime, federal police have their hands full keeping the population in check and stopping illegal groups that wander the country looting, spreading panic, and using the outbreak as an excuse to cause mischief. When Riley is thrown out of her usual life, she enters a world full of distrust, fear, and the feeling of never being able to return to the safety of society.
