Alternate ending

Ellie Matthews thinks she has the best job on the planet. She's a nanny to a very special little boy. His name is Brahms, and doesn't cause her any trouble. In fact, he's probably the easiest child she's ever had to care for. There's only one small thing...Brahms is a doll. A doll with a strange set of rules she's told she has to follow or risk consequences. Things are going well, until she breaks a rule and discovers that all is not as it seems with the doll. Odd things happen and before long, she's trapped in a snowstorm with a diabolical force who's determined to punish her for breaking the rules. Aided by a journal of a past nanny, can she survive until the family returns? Or will she succumb to the Brahms doll?

(Set before the film The Boy) Ruby Carter, looking for a quick, easy getaway has managed to find herself a small job looking after an 8 year old boy in a remote English village for a few months. However, upon arriving at the Heelshire manor to Ruby's amusement she finds herself looking after a porcelain doll with a set of rules that must be followed. What could possibly go wrong?
