Cover made by the amazing @mikeyspizzadope (go check them out they're cool) It's 3 A.M., and you can't sleep. Your heart feels like it might burst out of your chest. Your ears are ringing, echoing in your brain, and everything hurts so badly. Your vision is going blurry as you try to fight back the tears, and you're wondering why you even try anymore. At one point or another, most of us have experienced the feeling of worthlessness, shame, or guilt. We feel like we're at rock bottom, and it seems like nothing will ever get any better no matter how hard we try. One thing we do know for sure, though, is that where there is dark, there is bound to be light, no matter how small that speck may be. There's always hope, no matter how far out of reach it may seem. There's always light in the dark. TW/CW: mentions of anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts. "I know that even when things seem dark and at rock bottom, there's always hope. There's always a light at the end of the tunnel. As small as that little shaft of light may seem, it's not out of reach." - something a friend of mine once told me All of the poems in this book have been written by me. Completed on August 22, 2020

Mythologies and fantasy weaved into words of poetry with occasional threads of realism intertwined. ❝ Forgetting one can't fight for dead, Such was their pain. Losing their sanity All over again, Brimming with agony, They learnt Gods were half selfish and half selfless. ❞

"I'm sorry for hurting you. I'm sorry for being so emotional all the time. I'm sorry for hurting myself the way i do. I'm sorry for pushing everyone away. I'm sorry, I'm so sorry for making you hate me. I'm sorry for being here. I'm sorry for existing. I'm sorry for being the way i am. I'm sorry for being me." Amelia Cunningham. Epitome of Social Outcast. No friends. Just her trusty diary and occasional panic attacks. She is the perfect student, perfect daughter. She smiles like the sun shines down just for her, but nobody knows how broken she really is. Nobody sees the cracks and cuts beneath the beautiful facade she puts up. Nobody but Nikolai. And he might just be able to save her from herself. Because he believes that he's been given a second chance to save someone like her for a reason. And he would make sure he saves her no matter what.

✨ I dread that split second which can split your entirety entirely. ❤️ ✨ Painted nails, Faces fake tanned, Wrapped up in extravagance, Welcome to Vanity's wonderland.❤️ ✨ Why do you chase perfection and flawlessness in mere specks of dust? Darling, even the moon has freckles.❤️ ✨ Don't blame the glass, if you fall for the shards. ❤️ ✨ Because when, in a relationship words are left unsaid, virus of miscommunication is spread, due to which many hearts have bled. ❤️ ✨ You can paint yourself with the most angelic shades you can afford, but you cannot hide the demons in your eyes under any façade. ❤️ ✨ I want you to stop admiring the moon, it is always changing, dependant and all alone, Burn like the endless ocean of the twinkling stars, filled with an individualistic spark that no one else can own. ✨❤️ ✨ This book will include some of my poems and sometimes maybe a random thought. Any constructive feedback is thoroughly welcomed ❤️ Don't forget to vote! ✨ ✨ ~1st position in the Untitled Awards 🌼 ~1st position in the Talent Awards 🌼 ~1st position in Chaos Awards 5 🌼 ~1st position in Rhapsody Awards 🌼 ~2nd position in April Jane's Awards 🌼 ~and position in Fallen Angel Awards 🌼 ~Best Description Award in the Rhapsody Awards 🌼 ~Passion Award in the Rhapsody Awards 🌼 ~Emotion Award in the Rhapsody Awards 🌼 ~Extra Winner in the TPA 2018! 🌼 ~Honorable Mention in Poetry Prize Awards (Phase 1) 🌼 ✨ HIGHEST RANKING #1 in young writer!
