Pickled Petals is a poem book that I will be updating frequently. It will contain your daily dose of insight on my life and will hopefully help both you and I grow emotionally and spiritually. All of my poems will be interpreted differently by each person who reads them and that is okay with me! The only person that can read something and feel exactly the same way about it as you is you! "I was ten years old when the monster in my father's forest killed for the first time" Princess Rista dreads the day when she will have to leave her father's castle and her two beloved sisters to get married. She feels at home in her small kingdom and even in the magical forest that borders with it. But with time, something strange begins to spoil her familiar world. Who is the monster that seems to be hiding in the forest and what does it want? And who is the evil queen who - it is said -plans to wage war on the neighboring kingdom? One night, lured by a mysterious voice and careless of danger, Rista sneaks into the forest to seek for answers. There, she makes a strange encounter that will change her entire life. And possibly the fate of her kingdom. A retelling of a famous fairytale.
