Cassie, a reserved introvert teenage girl who have lost all hope in love due to what she had gone through in the past and has decided not ever fall in love because she believes love would only break her. Now she has to play the role of Desdemona in the upcoming play in the school and finally becomes close with the guy who has to play the role of Othello and his friends. She develops feeling for this guy but she isn't sure if it is love she feels for this guy.

Othello (The Tragedy of Othello, the Moor of Venice) is a tragedy by William Shakespeare, believed to have been written in 1603. It is based on the story Un Capitano Moro ("A Moorish Captain") by Cinthio, a disciple of Boccaccio, first published in 1565. The story revolves around its two central characters: Othello, a Moorish general in the Venetian army and his unfaithful ensign, Iago.
