There was a reason why Sonic only wanted to be Amy's best friend. He fears that if he begins to fall in love with Amy, he will become afraid and start crossing into the dark side. Once he asks Tails how to deal with stressful thoughts (Without revealing his secret), the young fox gives him a journal. But how long can he keep these thoughts a secret? And once it gets revealed, will his friends begin to lose trust in him?

He sometimes wished Shadow had never saved him. Sonic wasn't his usual, cocky, optimistic, energetic and hyper self. He was now quiet, sad and remorseful, usually never leaving his house. He had an endless hatred for Eggman now, the culprit for it all. He meets Shadow again after some years, and they both become friends, something unexpected for the two of them. The get closer until they find out the obvious... The Chapters take place in Sonic Boom. The Characters of Sonic the Hedgehog do not belong to me, they belong to Sega.

This is just like the game itself, accept that there will be a few changes here and there just to make it slightly different. Hope you enjoy it!

Reluctantly, Shadow agrees to foster the baby girl with Sonic after she starts calling him 'daddy'.
