My teeth chattered uncontrollably. Whether it was because of the frigid temperature, or out of fright, I wasn't sure. The room I was being held hostage in was pitch black, and I had no energy to get up and search for a light switch. My eyes began to well with tears and I let out a sob. It echoed through the silent room. "S-someone h-h-help m-me" I whispered. ---- Mashiro. A lonely girl stuck in an abusive orphanage. A girl so different she is beat up every day, mocked, and made fun of. She wishes to the moon that she could escape and run away. One day, the moon grants her her wish, but not in a way she expects. Will this freedom cost her her life?
