Cover by NaturallyFiona ~ "I don't know who's hitting or hurting you-" "Tyler, please drop it." "-but whoever it is shouldn't be hitting such a pretty girl." I looked down and blushed a full fledged blush. No one had ever called me pretty. The only time it was ever implied I was pretty was in kindergarden when a little boy said I looked like a daisy. ~ He was typical. She was not. His past was full of riches and one sad incident. Her past was now tainted with purple bruises and thin cuts. The only thing they had in common was their parent's deaths. Can all of that change when Holly gets assigned to him for a French project? Is there a deeper side to the simplicity of Tyler's life?

illicit: adj. forbidden by law, rules, or custom It wasn't even supposed to happen. If Maddie Grace hadn't been a complete idiot and bought groceries late at night, she probably wouldn't have met her new gym teacher, Matt Peters. There he was, her knight in shining armor, punching the rando that tried to abduct her. Swoon. Yes, he was her teacher, and yes, she was his student. She never thought that a gym class teacher could be attractive, nevertheless young. She never thought that she would be the frail female to be smacked in the face with a dodgeball her first day of senior year. He never thought that he would be the kind of teacher to automatically aid his students. Whoops. When they recognized each other the first minute of gym class (a first period class for God knows what reason), they thought things couldn't get more awkward. Unluckily for them, they very well can. Will Matt carve his name into Maddie's heart despite their awkward circumstances?
