Error certainly couldn't pass the deal up, knowing he out of any other person could find one, and so he set out on his journey to retrieve a mermaid. Once he had captured one, things started taking a dark turn. Their relationship started as a fight over dominance which Error knew he couldn't win, though it quickly turned into flirting and then actually loving each other.
