[DISCONTINUED] Aya Kurosawa didn't mean to board the wrong bus or bump into Sang Sorenson or start a fight in the mall. She sure as hell didn't intend on getting tangled up with Academy boys, and nine of them at that. Her problem isn't with the boys, but the fact that they're from the Academy is troubling. After all a girl with secrets tends to keep them buried under six feet of lies. And it's hard to keep it hidden when you've got a pack of dogs sniffing around. (I do not own pictures used throughout the story nor the Ghost Bird/Scarab beetle characters. Those are CL Stone's intellectual property. I only own the original character Aya Kurosawa and several others.)

An Academy/ Ghost Bird Fanfic. Inspired by the characters and story by C.L. Stone. This story contains characters that are similar to the Ghost Bird ones , but not quite the same. The world looks like ours to the general public, but hidden in the shadows are horrifying creatures and the extraordinary humans who hunt them. Selene does not look anything like her parents and her eyes are uncanny- leaving her parents unsettled. Especially since they never wanted a child anyway. As she grows, she asks about things no one else can see or feel - which only makes things worse. The world is much too dangerous for Selene- no one will understand and will only try to hurt her. She is hidden away in her parents' large and lonely house- for her own good of course. Her life changes forever though one late afternoon when she finds that her wooded backyard is no longer the sanctuary she has always counted on. She learns that the world is a terrifying place, but not for the reasons her mother has always given her.- But more importantly, 5 young men will show her that she truly is a treasure - one that they have been desperately searching for. I have rated this a mature because I am not sure exactly where this story will go...

Emergency alert system activated. Panicked voices. The smell of rotting flesh and death. Devastation. On Friday June 6th, 2006 the world as we knew it changed forever. It just...Ended. A virus broke out and the world went to hell. A government experimentation gone to shit. 30 experiments escaped into the world after a security breach in a lab not far from my hometown of Charleston, south Carolina. They're zombies, but i call them the undead. Everyone was told to stay inside and to lock themselves in. However, most did the opposite. They panicked. At least that's what my so called "family" did. I was left behind. 336 hours. 14 days. 2 weeks. I have been alone for 2 weeks. I don't know where they are now. Or what is going on in the world around me, but I made a vow to myself. I will survive this. I will get out. I am Sang Sorenson. And this... Is how I will survive the end. I don't own any of the characters they all belong to Author C.L. STONE.

Sang Sorensen is a bright and talented seventeen year old ballerina who has finally had enough. She's barely survived the last year at Ashley Waters High, and when the abuse, both at school and at home, comes to a head, she does the only thing she can think of...she runs. *This is a Ghost Bird fan fiction based on the characters created by C.L. Stone. After the first bit, the story is purely from my imagination. ******Author's Note~PLEASE READ****** There are a few scenes of a graphic nature in this book, so please be aware that some of the things I write about may make you uncomfortable. Thank you. There may be triggers in this story for you, but I dishonor the struggle to overcome if I gloss them over.

Cover by Macey_Mouse Sang is a human. Scratch that, she's a cat. She's an Academy bird? Maybe labels aren't her thing. Sang Sorenson is a shifter, a human who can shift into an animal at will. It's been her secret for years. She never had the best life, but when her mother found out, Sang found out just how cruel humans could be. The punishments were relentless, always for things she didn't do. Her mother's favorite was to strip her down naked, force her to shift, and lock her out of the house until it was time for school. Then, Sang would be let inside to get ready, go to school, come home and do some chores, possibly being punished, and then it was outside for the rest of the night/weekend. She was a 'creature from Hell,' as her atheist mother might say, an animal. And animals live outside. That doesn't make it any easier to survive out there, however. So when Sang gets stuck in a tree, and the boys come to the rescue, she's grateful for the 'friends.' She soaks up their attention and affection, quickly worming her way into their team- but as only a mere cat. They confide in her, love her as a pet, unaware of her true nature. They have no idea the kitten they love so much is really just a teenage girl. How long can she keep up the act? What happens when the boys find out? I guess you'll have to hit the 'Start Reading' button if you ever want to figure it out. Insert exaggerated wink here.

Bullied by jealous girls, Ignored by nearly everyone else in high school Sang never gave in. Even when, on the eve of her eighteenth birthday, her family abandoned her with naught but a backpack and a single suitcase containing all of her worldly possessions. Alone, bruised, and tired of living like this, she took her meager belongings and the few thousand dollars she'd saved all her life she started over, determined to make the best of her freedom. Three years, a job, months of therapy, and an apartment later she's finally whole for the first time in her life and then 14 wonderful men fall into her calm world, shaking things up once more, his time for the better. Monroe Lovie. A seventeen-year-old boy who lives with an overprotective mother, an abusive and power-hungry stepfather, and a stepbrother who wishes to be more than brothers. Roe has lived with this twisted group of people that called themselves "family", forced to hide from the rest of the world in the most inconspicuous way possible. Sure, he still attends public school and goes out maybe once a month, but once he steps foot in the prison he calls a home, he is locked in his cell in order to hide the skeletons that are piled high within this "happy home". The biggest skeleton of all? He is actually a she. When Roe's family moves into The Village of Four Seasons in the Ozarks, she runs into a group of boys that are more bizarre, yet more caring than the people she is forced to call family. She wants to know the feeling of friendship, the feeling of youth, the feeling of love, and she thinks that these boys can give that to her. But is she willing to sacrifice herself to the wrath of her reality in order to know this group of people, so different from what she knows? And what will happen if they find out the truth? This is a fanfiction based on The Academy series written by C.L. Stone. The original idea of The Academy does NOT belong to me, I am only borrowing it to create a new story with original characters. Cover art is not mine, all credit to original artist(s). (I tried so hard to find the artist too you would not believe) ***PLEASE READ WITH CAUTION: This story does involve many triggering events and topics, so please read with caution.
