The previous seventh-year students have returned for their eighth and final year since their entire seventh year was spent fighting off Voldemort and his death eaters. Hundreds of witches and wizards have died, and the population is extremely low. With not enough witches and wizards left in the population, a new law is put into place, those ages 17-25 are expected to marry and produce children in the next two years of their life. Marriage shall be required in one year. If a witch or wizard of age refuses to wed, their wands will be snapped and magic taken away. Not wishing this, the seventh and eighth-year students obey, they would be placed into an arranged marriage, based on what the sorting hats new brother decides. Who will be placed with who? After the Wizarding war the seventh years were able to return. Now this is no ordinary return, with the last of our hero's coming back to Hogwarts, the ministry has one hell of a surprise. The wizarding world is in shambles, the remaining death eaters are awaiting trial, those who switched sides last minute remain on house arrest. Now things need to change, no one should be prioritising blood lines and in an attempt to prevent a single argument breaking out based on someone's blood the ministry is playing match maker. Only one certain witch was about to find out everything she knew, wasn't exactly her life.

War changes people. War changes circumstances. But nothing could have prepared the students of Hogwarts for the set of circumstances the end of the Second Great Wizarding War would bring about.
