Esme Dupont's easy and high-class life takes a drastic turn one summer. It begins with her aunt, the Grand Wizard's, murder, a betrayal, a curse and a leap of faith off of the top of the massive Ivory Tower to her potential death. But it does not end there. Framed for the Grand Wizard's death and inconveniently cursed, Esme is forced to blackmail a young thief and force him to smuggle her from Lakeside city to the Granite Tower on the other-side of the country, where the only ally who is both magically and politically powerful enough to help her resides. But getting there will be hard and, with the police, the dangerous Wizard Tower's hunters and a begrudging ally, Esme is not at all confident she can make it in one piece, let alone alive. This wasn't the summer she had planned. This was a summer of nightmares. A summer of slyness, sneaking and shape-changing curses. A Vulpine Summer. Vulpine Summer is a young adult fantasy-romance adventure set in a fantastical 1920's world, where fashion and class mean everything and magic is barely holding its place against the ever growing science and medicine. Was titled Vulpine Summer from 2016 - 2022. Cover is my own work, drawn 2022. Author's note - Please be mindful of what you're saying when commenting. I'm happy with helpful criticism, spelling/grammar pointers, questions or simple chatter. However, a tirade of needless, unhelpful complaints and just outright rude commentary is not welcome. My stories are terrible first drafts, they're going to be riddled with issues, so just politely highlight if you feel there's a problem. I'll listen and likely take on board the criticism. And if you're not enjoying it, that's fine, just move on and thank you for giving it a shot.

Lyra has been waiting for her Weaver to find her for years, unable to leave the safety of her home and only connected to him through passionate dreams - remembering nothing about him apart from his wild, sensual song. When the lone Weaver Grigore finally sweeps into her life, she finds herself instantly drawn to him, instantly recognising him as the man she had dreamt of for years. However, Lyra quickly runs into problems. Not only does he fail to recognise her but he's nothing like she imagined; cold, stubborn and determined to keep himself away from her. Rejected but determined to keep him safe as her magic whispers of his death, she follows him through danger and blood as he stalks his own hunt, desperate to shake the hooks that keeps pulling him back to her. First Volume of the Dark Folktales. This is a horror, erotic romance, with monster-of-the-week vibes, such as Buffy, Supernatural, Witcher, Claymore, and Van Helsing. (I'm a massive fan of the monster hunting genre.) Written from Sep 2011 until April 2014. This was the very first adult romance I'd written and has a plethora of problems. Despite this, I won't do further editing as I'm putting my efforts into a full re-write. Author's note - Please be mindful of what you're saying when commenting. "The Blind God walks around me, and I feel my mind prodded again like it was in the cavern, a spider weaving a tangled web. "Would you do anything to be remembered, Ode, even play a villain, the one who rises against the Chosen One?" In answer, I draw my dagger and make a slight incision against my thumb. Blood drips down, hot against my flesh. I hold my hand out as an oath, a promise. My ghouls hiss, yearning to drink. "I would rather reign over darkness than grovel as a servant to the light." *FEMALE ROBIN HOOD MEETS ONE THOUSAND AND ONE NIGHTS* Ode Ngayoh is the only child of a bloodthirsty desert warlord. When the Blind God chooses her as champion, she's deemed a dark witch, a blemish against the Empire for her necromantic powers of summoning ghūls, the undead. Earth has a population of roughly a billion hominids. For the most part, they are happy with their lot, living in a preserve at the bottom of a gravity well. Those who are unhappy have emigrated, joining one or another of the swarming densethinker clades that fog the inner solar system with a dust of molecular machinery so thick that it obscures the sun. The splintery metaconsciousness of the solar-system has largely sworn off its pre-post-human cousins dirtside, but its minds sometimes wander…and when that happens, it casually spams Earth's networks with plans for cataclysmically disruptive technologies that emulsify whole industries, cultures, and spiritual systems. A sane species would ignore these get-evolved-quick schemes, but there's always someone who'll take a bite from the forbidden apple.
