Everyone in Konoha knows Naruto. The dead-last, the idiot, the prankster, happy-go-lucky, a dumb blond with a hopeless crush on Haruno Sakura. What about Sakura? A hopeless fangirl of Sasuke's who cannot fight to save her life, with loving parents who care for her. Sasuke? An emo avenger who does nothing but brood over the end of his clan, power-hungry and willing to do anything within his power to kill Itachi. The list goes on. However, not everything is as it seems. Every person, be it consciously or unconsciously, has a mask that hides their true selves. Their lives are not nearly as happy as they seem. This story is one of truths well hidden and lies well kept. And also how truths, no matter how well hidden, will always come unburied. DISCLAIMER: I do not own Naruto or Naruto Shippuden. Naruto Uzumaki is an orphan and an only child. But, who has been raising him? The Third Hokage was always busy, so the small infant had to care for himself from time to time. A mysterious person has been raising him ever sine Naruto was baby. Who is this person and what is his relationship with Naruto?

Naruto Uzumaki: loudmouth, prankster, idiot, and dead last. Naruto Uzumaki-Namikaze: quiet, serious, smart, and a prodigy.

When Naruto was a child he was forced away by his parents for his sisters and beat until he went mute. Kurama saw a way to kill two birds with one stone. seeing Naruto beat until he went mute and wanted to help. He gave Naruto his powers over nature and by doing so killing himself, tearing his power from his sisters so he can pass on. From all of this Naruto the mute sage is born.

Naruto has had enough. All he wants is to leave, to be as far away from the place his nightmares came to life. He wants to live freely, not chained down to a village who look at him with nothing but disgust.

There have been prodigies from the Hidden Leaf before, Itachi Uchiha, Minato Namikaze, and Orochimaru being one of the few, but none of them were bigger prodigies than Naruto Uzumaki, Genin at age 4, Chunin at age 7, Special Jonin at age 9, and Jonin at age 13. Now, at age 14, he is being charged with being a Jonin Sensei, having to take three students in particular, Sasuke Uchiha, Sakura Haruno, and Kiba Inuzuka. How will Naruto have to deal with his new students as they doubt his ability, and his teaching skills as he takes on the hard life as a teacher at a young age with kids your age? Naruto had managed to keep the promise made to Sakura: the great Uchiha Sasuke has been brought back to the village. Naruto was then accused of being a traitor by Sasuke, when the boy did not like what the blond had said. Naruto was tortured to the brink of death and thrown out of the hidden leaf village with a threat that if he ever dared to enter the fire country, he will be executed. The boy with a broken body and a broken mind had wanted to die but was found. Who found him and what did he do? Why is the blond they know from before the banishment 3 years ago a female now? A new nation will rise to the top and many will try to fight but who will win?
