However, their plans to keep the day low-key are put under threat by the appearance of an unexpected guest; one who has misplaced a very significant item and needs their help to recover it, before it is too late. Nico regretted one thing about his absence from Camp Half-Blood; not talking to Will Solace before he departed, leaving Will to think that he'd abandoned the Mortal World for the Underworld. Owing Will an explanation, he heads to Camp Half-Blood for New Year with Percy and Leo, hoping to at least talk to the Son of Apollo. And who knows, maybe it really will be a new year, new him.
