When a murder shakes her tiny village, Alera will discover a horrifying link between the scars on her arms and the werewolves and vampires that stalk her home. ***** Nineteen-year-old Alera has grown up in the village of Adaymos, listening to stories about the monsters that live in the forest that surround her home. Labelled an outcast because of the scars on her arm, she's an easy scapegoat after one of the villagers is found murdered, but when newcomer Will is framed instead she's forced to question everything she knows about the mysterious outsider. Could he really be the killer? Or is he hiding more about the werewolves and vampires that live in the forest -- and the truth behind Alera's scars -- than he lets on? ♡♡#182 In Werewolf as of 6/19/2016 ( What some readers are saying about Avery.... "I can already tell this is going to be a great book" @myathesmart "Ooh, love the mystery." @Yoojin_Kim "Definitely interesting." @Young006 "HOLY SH*T!! KAYDEN/ADEN IS HAWT!! LOVE YOUR TASTE LADY AUTHOR!!!" "BEST. STORY. EVERR!!! Gotta hand it to you, If I were a judge in the werewolf section, I'd put ya 1st" @AleckIsALlama "It gets more interesting by the chapter."@Xapri714 The lost of my father caused an empathic power to unlock within me. I thought I was going crazy from not only the death of my father but also the over load of emotions and spent two years in a mental health hospital. I could feel everything, from everyone in the hospital. Add my own emotions on top of that it became a disaster. It wasn't a good time. I learned to block out others but in the process I locked out my own emotions. I became this cold thing. I thought it was perfect. Never needing to feel a thing. Well emotionally anyways. And being crazy didn't seem so bad. A crazy cold thing. I could live with that. Then my Uncle came and got custody of me. I learned a few thing in those first weeks with him. I'm not crazy. I'm an empath. I have more family than I knew of. I have two life mates. I'm possibly an empath able to form a bond to a wolf in the rage. I'm also the first of my kind. And here I thought I was the crazy one.

Siena can heal wounds with a touch of her hands. A captive since birth, she is used as a tool of war by a Plainsmen tribe. A chance escape into the forest proves successful... and deadly. Rescued by the Forestfolk--a group of people she always thought were nothing more than bedtime stories--Siena remains on edge. Trust does not come easily when persecution is all she's ever known. Keeping her abilities a secret seems like the right thing to do, until a tragic accident renders two Forestfolk spiraling toward death. If she chooses to reveal her abilities, she risks being subjugated again. Treated as no longer human. Maybe even sent back to the Plainsmen. But keeping her talent to herself means ignoring the injured around her, even allowing them to die. The choice seems obvious to Siena, but living with the repercussions of that choice is another matter altogether. A journey of self-discovery, a bit of adventure, and a splash of romance. (Complete) **A MATURE FANTASY** Book #1 in the Elemental Heir Series. Now published and available in PAPERBACK and KINDLE on AMAZON!! 🤍 "Your ready wit never fails to surprise and delight me, Brenya." He murmured, his lips only inches from my own. I blinked, my lips parting, as his heady scent encircled me. He licked his lower lip, running his teeth over it as his electric blue eyes burned into mine. The heat of his bare chest seeped through my thin cotton shirt, thawing my icy irritation. "Even when you're being cross." He added in a low voice. He leaned closer, before I could respond, and ran his teeth along my jaw. I suppressed a moan. "I wouldn't be cross if you weren't so keen on irritating me." I said, unable to hide the smile in my voice. I felt his answering smile against my neck. "How can I make it up to you?" He whispered, planting gentle kisses up and down the column of my throat. He moved to the other side of my neck, flicking his tongue once against the mating mark near my shoulder. My hands slid up his abdomen, exploring the dips and hard lines of his muscles. Heat uncurled deep in my belly, spreading lower, and lower, until I felt my panties dampen. He growled into my ear, sending shivers down my entire body. *~*~*~*~*~* ~#1 in ROMANCE 9/13/18~ ~#1 in ACTION-ADVENTURE 12/05/18 and 4/25/19~ ~#1 in ACTION-ROMANCE 1/16/19~ ~#1 in DRAGONS 6/9/19~ ~#1 in FAIRIES 7/20/19~ *~*~*~*~*~* ⚠️!! This is set after "The Reckoning" by Kelley Armstrong. I started it because I want this series to continue, and I hope that people who feel the same way will enjoy it! ~~ Chloe, Derek, Simon and Tori all seem to be safe with Kit and Lauren...but are they really? ~~ Excerpt: |I saw Derek fall beside me. "Derek!" I gasped in horror, dropping down beside him. He blinked his eyes warily, "I think I got shot." "No kidding," I laughed nervously, noticing the blood dripping from his leg. Derek looked at his leg and then back at me, panic in his eyes. "They're over here!" I hear someone shout to our right. Derek looks at me and pushes me up. "Go, I'll be okay." "You really think I'd do that?" I laugh humourless. "A guy can try," he muttered, trying to get up. I looked around at our surroundings, looking for a hiding spot that would fit both of us. I see a clump of bushes and point them out to Derek. He nods and crawls over, blood dripping from his leg. Pushing through, he reaches for me. Once we're out of sight, I take a look at his bullet wound. My eyes widen when I see how bad it is. I take my sweater off and rip off the sleeve. I wrap the sleeve around Derek's leg and inspect it. No blood drips through so I take that as a good sign, although he'll need stitches. Derek pulled me closer as the voices drew nearer. "Can you see them?" A radio cracks. "No," a female voice says right in front of us, "But I saw them go this way." I pushed myself deeper into the bush, careful not to bump into Derek as I go. A flashlight shines around us, then lands directly where we're sitting. Derek shifts uncomfortable next to me, afraid she found us. "Chloe," the woman says... |
