It's 1995, and Castiel's high school years are destined to be difficult: home-schooled until eighth grade, he is awkward, shy, and socially inept. The weird kid with the funny name would rather isolate himself and draw in his sketchbook than deal with the constant bullying he faces every day. Things only get worse in his junior year when he excels in home economics class, leading the captain of the baseball team, Alastair, to start taunting him for being gay. Then new student Dean Winchester arrives at Flour Bluff High School, sharing many of Castiel's classes. Castiel has seen his type before -- handsome, athletic, arrogant, and sure to be the most popular kid in school. But Castiel eventually learns that he and Dean have more in common than he thought, and they form an unlikely friendship. Dean Winchester is a famous YouTube star. Castiel is a history teacher at the local high school. Many of Cas' students fawn over Dean, or as they know him, Dean Zepplin. But none of them know their own teacher is married to the celebrity they are all madly in love with. Although tough times will come, but they will pull through and be as strong as ever.

Cas has been dating Aaron for six years now, and he loves it. Mostly. Sometimes Aaron loses his temper, but it's okay. He still loves Cas. Cas just has to make sure he doesn't upset Aaron. But one day Cas meets Dean. Dean is funny and beautiful and confident, and Cas likes him a lot. They start to hang out more and more, and Cas starts to realize that relationships don't have to be the way his is. But he can't leave Aaron, they love each other. Right?
