Dean and Cas become really close friends, but what happens when Cas finds out Dean's big secret?

Dean Winchester is nineteen years old and only a year out of high school when he gets sent to the hospital after a argument with his father. Nothing serious occurred, but Dean was required to spend the next few days under observation. While he is spending his time in the hospital of utter boredom, he meets Castiel, a young man the same age as him as a patient of cancer. Forming a quick bond, he begins visiting the boy even when he gets out, but is something more going on?

Dean finally has a second chance at life after his father died. Yet, he finds himself falling farther than he ever has before when a fatal mistakes turns his whole world on its head. Warning: There is mentions of suicide and suicidal attempts. Also, there are vivid flashbacks to extreme violence. You have been warned.

When Castiel’s plans for the summer get cancelled and he’s left with nowhere else to go, Dean invites him to go home with him. It seems an easy solution to cure Castiel’s summer blues, but when they arrive at the Winchester household, Dean realizes due to a slight miscommunication with his mom he and Castiel will have to spend the summer sharing a bed and holding hands because the entire Winchester family thinks they’re dating. And really it shouldn't be that big of a deal because Dean Winchester isn't actually in love with his best friend; except for that he is.
