Whilst out on a mission, Lance gets injured and he can no longer speak. Whilst in this condition, everybody seems to ignore him. Lance ends up being depressed and feeling left out but carries on doing his missions. However, his silence leads him to do find out that shiro isn't their shiro at all. After the shouting from Shiro, Lance's insecurities are back. Even though Shiro had apologised Lance still felt the pain the comments had caused. Everyone gets their own healer and Lance's knows exactly what he needs. But it's not what anyone expected. All Lances wants is to be happy, carefree and at home.

Lance is the self absorbed flirt, right? But there is more to everyone than what is on the surface, you just have to dig deeper.
