For this LGBT history month, I'm gonna post one reason to why Lams was real each day (if I don't forget) as a way to celebrate LGBT history! This is mostly gonna be based on their letters (which are indeed reliable sources, they're considered primary sources for a reason) but you'll probably stumble upon a crack chapter here and there. #21 in Lams July 30th Cliche College AU- Alexander and John were were first introduced to each other in, nonetheless, the most least charming and romantic place for sparks to fly. Snotty nose children, wailing and crying babies and the stench of germs. Yet, romance blossoms for one of the two. But, both of them knowing that they would never see the other again, abandoned their romanticism and turned their noses up at their feelings. That is, until they discover who their roommates are. -- I mean read this if you want, the plot is weird and it needs work and I'm not too proud of it, it being my first fanfic but enjoy what the hell you want

Everyone loves John Laurens, they love what they see. They love the freckles and the silky curls. They love the eyes and the lips. They love the subtle curves and the eyelashes. They love the Omega. But when they have the guts to get a closer look they don't like what they see. They see the aggressiveness and the lack of smiles. They dry answers and how when you're standing in front of him he puffs his chest out and doesn't look down. They see a borderline murderous glare, and they don't like that. They definitely hate the punches, they don't like John Laurens. At first, Alexander also loved the Omega everyone saw. But then he got closer, and honestly? John's just a weird guy who's tired of everyone's shit. And he loves him.

After life threw Alexander around for years, things finally started settling down. He had a loving family, an education, and caring friends. A home. But of course, the world isn't quite done with him just yet. When he starts talking to John Laurens, supposedly bratty, snobbish, rich John Laurens, and finds out that what people say about him are nothing but myths he finds himself tangled on a secret friendship which eventually morphs, quite accidentally, into something more with the South Carolinian. He can't let people know about them, especially not his lovable but oh so overbearing brother Lafayette. It gets even worse when feelings are thrown into the picture. But whatever, what Lafayette doesn't know won't hurt him, right?
