Being the new kid in school is never fun. But when Anna Fowley finds herself in Saturday detention with Shermer's most notorious burnout, she starts to think maybe this school year isn't going to go to the dogs.

She is a rebellious young teen with horrendous attitude issues and resentment for those whom should love her, plays a huge roll in her life. By keeping herself to herself, she is one of the most mysterious students at Shermer High. When she ends up in Saturday detention, her personality is stripped bare by the other five students accompanying her. They learn not to judge a book by its cover. Everything is not always what it seems.
