Tom Riddle has always been cold-hearted. Born under the affects of a love potion, it was almost impossible for him to love. He kept his guard up, never truly letting anyone in. But when an American transfer student named Marceline Abernathy comes to the school, things begin to change. Will Tom let Marceline in, or will he just remain cold?

They say Tom Riddle cannot love. They say children conceived through the use of a love potion will never know the feeling of falling for someone. I could feel his hot breath on my neck, making me shudder. "We shouldn't be doing this..." I started, my lip quivering. His hands travelled down my thighs and he smirked, "But your innocence and purity. It's so... delicious." I swallowed hard, "Please... Tom. What if Zach finds us?" He kept me tightly pinned to the wall, nipping at my throat, "And what? Your brother can't help you..."

Avery Silverdale has just entered Hogwarts to start her sixth year despite the fact she has been home schooled all her life - but 'fate' decides to get her sister pregnant forcing Avery to go to Scotland. However, things go unexpected which leaves Avery thinking a damn lot about this hot, serious and sarcastic guy who is her polar opposite. There's more then meets the eye though to oblivious Avery, as she begins to talk more and more with Riddle. Despite everyone warning her about this dangerous boy who is just supposedly using her. Defying everything she knows and has, she continues to embarrass herself in front of him, learn with him, be saved by him, argue with him and even cook with him all while falling more into this trap called love. Although is it really 'love' or are the most twisted tears expected to fall?

"Promise me, Cindria! Please!" Tom pleaded, now gripping my arms in a vice-like a grip. "I won't, I won't promise something when I know I'm going to break that promise, Tom," I said shaking my head. I refused to comply with Tom's demands because I knew one way or another, I'd be forced to get involved in what's happening. Whatever was happening. "Fine! You leave me no choice! Nagini!" I heard Tom say, and when he uttered that familiar name, I began to tremble. "Tom...Tom! what are you doing?" I said weakly, raising my hands to his muscled biceps. "Protecting you," he replied, just as Nagini, Tom's huge snake, slithered into the room. I could feel myself becoming faint and I pressed myself into Tom for protection from the venomous creature. He wouldn't. Would he? He would. "Tom...You promised...You promised that it wouldn't come near me!" I began to panic, now trying to get away from Tom, who held me around the waist, tightly against him. "I know what I promised, Cindria, I promise Nagini won't hurt you. She'll just be outside your door, guarding you, making sure nothing happens to you in case you have any ideas," he told me, putting his hand on my cheek. "Please don't do this, you don't have to do this," I whispered, tears making their way to my eyes.

When Evelyn returned for her Fifth Year at Hogwarts, she expected everything to be the same.
