So, I wanted to write the classic Cinderella/ rich people-poor people trope story in the tradition of classics like Boys over Flowers/Meteor Garden, The Heirs and others, just without the straight people. I had originally planned to write this in a KDrama-world setting and as a purely original (well, except for aaaall the tropes) story, but since I have been writing a lot for Love by Chance Tin and Can recently, and I read that Mean and Plan wanted to act in another drama together, I have decided to cast them in this story as the main leads and set it in ThaiDrama-world instead. So, the characterisation of the two leads is not really based on Mean and Plan iRL, but I would love to see them cast in this, if it were a real drama. Like all of my stories, I'm writing this as I publish and even though I try to be disciplined, it will not be as polished as a properly edited bona fide book.
