Ara Mendes started anew ever since that tragic accident. She basically funded most of her money to all the families of the victims she could have found so there isn't really a trace of starting anew with hard evidence from that second statement. She's been going with the flow of her life, waiting to actually have eternal peace. Looks like God wants to keep her up until sixty. Well, you can't have everything, darling. Just when she thought there were no more plot twists on her boring life and she might adopt a cat, a plot twist came. Trek Loyola, a hot--tie, exactly. Because he was kind of burned -ookay, that wasn't funny. Yes! It isn't funny because it sort of grew to be one of his greatest insecurities. They crossed paths, main point of this story, guys. Two morons. They meet. They fall in love. You wouldn't expect to read the twist in the description, riiiiight? Read. Kidding aside, here it goes: Before God grants Ara her heavily wanted eternal peace, He haunts her with a memory of the past. He haunts them both with a memory of the past, actually. How could possibly fight through this?

Warning: this story contains dark theme about depression, sex, violence, and language that may trigger emotional trauma to people who experienced the same. Read at your own risk. Beauty is a gift from God, or so they say. Bethany Chaleir De Vera learned at a young age that beauty won't give you a free pass from heartaches when her dad left her mom to elope with another woman who wasn't even half her mom's beauty. In fact, she believes that beauty is a curse. Because if not, why do her friends continue to betray and sexually assault her? Eventually, she learned not to trust anyone, she learned how to play the game, how to use her beautiful face and curvy body as a weapon to guard her fragile and broken heart. For her, she'd rather fuck in broad daylight than make love in the dark. She'd rather shed her skin to strangers than readily offer her heart. Not until Artemus Xavier knocked on her door. But in this life led through broken pieces and betrayal, how do one unkiss her? How do one unrape her? How will he unravel her?

A collection of my poems. The first couple are from my middle school/high school days (so bear with the cringe) and the rest are the random thoughts I have between midnight and 4 a.m. Enjoy.
