I am Depressed. I can still smile at pretty things. And laugh when the jokes are funny. I can still talk to people. And enjoy nice things. But when I go inside, When I'm alone, There is something broken. And I fall into a sadness so sweet That it engulfs me. I look in the mirror. And I don't like what I see. And the tears always fall When I falling asleep. And I miss something, That doesn't exist. I am depressed. I have been for a while. But I can still find the light Brexley Lukenson is depressed. When she was three her parents got into a car crash , they where fine for a couple weeks then something happened to make the life support stop ,and they later died because of it. So the heartbroken orphan went to the city's orphanage ,to later get adopted by a family named the Scotts. For awhile things where nice for little Brexley ,but then on a stormy night a lightning bolt hit the Scott's house and set it on fire. It killed most of the family except for her and the Scots six year old twin sisters Elenora and Cydney. At the last minute the Scots aunt( Aunt Tessa) came and fostered the three little girls. Let's just say that Aunt Tessa didn't like Brexley very much. As Brexley grew older she started to get bullied. She started getting bullied so bad she had to change schools. Let's just say this school is way different, but in a good way. Everyone is so nice there, of course you are going to have some mean girls but Brexley could handle that. Other than having no friends she was fine. Well of course until she ran into Dax Breccan. Dax is the captain of the football team and is also the quarterback. He probably has slept with more girls then the number of girls that actually go to the high school. After the awkward meeting Dax has made an oath to help Brexley with her depression and be her starlight. He ends up learning way more information then he should have, but in the wrong hands bad things could happen to Brexley.
