Steve finds himself in the middle of a war he didn't want to get involved in. Herobrine has plans for this prince but the king: Notch, also Steve's father, can't allow Hero to get his hands on Steve.

The characters are highly complex and they exist in a world that values strength over compassion, only the strong survive. The life inside the pack mimics that of a real wolf pack with a strict hierarchy that is established through fighting and power. It is also comparable to a medieval court, the king holds his divine right to rule and the queen exists solely to please and support the king. Throw in scheming courtiers with the ability to change into wolves with sharp claws and fangs and you have the pack construct. As the characters are basically wolves housed in a human skin and the story is laced with animalistic references and traits displayed by all. We first meet the main characters Meela and Grey it is on a bloody battlefield where they recognize each other as their soul mate, and Grey takes Meela as tribute for his pack's help in her brother's fight. From this point on Meela belongs to Grey, and in this world, a highly spirited female with a propensity for impulsive actions matched to a dog stubborn, self-assured, dominant male is going to cause problems. We follow Meela in her journey to become the pack's Luna, a pack who are even more wolf than the one she comes from, and with a mate who has set the highest standards for her to reach as his Luna(female Alpha) and will accept nothing less than perfection. In the midst of all this and the struggle they face to form a personal and public relationship, there is one incident that will change them both and the fate of the pack completely. From that point on both Meela and Grey are inevitably changed and for them to be together, either one or both needs to change, but when you live in a world where you are taught that weakness is easily exploited and to admit defeat can potentially lead to your destruction. A ghost of a smile crept at the corner of his mouth. His hand latched onto my arm. Panic started to pool out of my nerves. I glanced back and forth between his gloved hand and the concealing hood upon his head. Curiosity never hit me so deeply than it did at that moment, as I wondered who was under the hood. Who it was that I was supposed to trust. "Who are you?" I timidly reached my free hand up to his head, fingers tingling all the while. He didn't try to stop me. There was a brief second when excitement exploded inside me, propelling my hand all the more quicker, millimeters away from touching the black cloth. Ghost grabbed my hand mid-air, his reflexes acting lightning-fast. I started. Drums began to pound in my ears. My heartbeat rose about ten notches. He had his entire hand wrapped around my wrist, and he slowly eased it down until it was parallel with my body. "A villain can choose to reveal his identity, but not knowing is the beauty of mystery," Ghost said lowly, his right hand coming up to push back a loose strand of hair from my face. "Now close your eyes." Reluctantly I shut my eyes, but not because he had commanded the action. It was more out of fear of what was going to happen next.

I shouldn't have been walking around alone at night. I shouldn't have stopped and watch the obviously crazy man set the building on fire. And I sure of hell shouldn't have accidentally caught his attention. Then maybe, just maybe I wouldn't have been kidnapped by the world's most evil super villain. And then hopefully right now I wouldn't be wishing that he wasn't completely crazy, and wanted to kill every super hero in the world, and that he would, I don't know, take me to the movies, hold my hand as we walked together, or maybe take me to dinner one night. You know normal, cute couple stuff. Instead he likes to kick puppies when no ones watching, dropping me from high buildings, and throwing people into traffic, annoyingly. Maybe if I had just minded my own business and kept walking, maybe I wouldn't have been taken by someone who's whole mission in life is to watch every super die, and cackle evilly while he thinks of it. Maybe if I had just minded my own business and kept walking, maybe I wouldn't start feeling bad for this super villain. Maybe I wouldn't be questioning everything I've ever learned about him. And God forbid, I wouldn't be loving a villain.
