Vanessa would not describe herself as a "typical teenager". Sure she enjoys music, games, friends, and more like other teens, but what happened in California is not at all normal. Thankfully, in New York she is determined to forget her past life, and form a new one. But to do that she has to survive surrounded by people she doesn't know, and hide from the ever present threat lurking in the back of her head.
