Situated off of the Upper Peninsula, and located in Lake Michigan, lies a tiny little tourist hotspot called Magnolia Island. Cali "California" Bentley loves her life on the Island. She has always dated the same boy, has the same best friend, and her parents still reside in the same little cottage she was born in. Change is the last thing any Islander wants. However, as tourist season comes, so do all the Mainlanders. With them brings the wild parties, obnoxious kids, and overpopulation of working college students. And Cali's coworker Nash happens to be one of them. On the Island for a college internship, Nash opens up Cali to a world outside of the Island she knows best. However, the closer she gets to him, the more her perfect life begins to unravel.
