-- A CanEm AU story -- Can Divit is an adventurer who likes to take photos in the most secluded places. He decides to take on a job to go photograph the mysterious town of Mahalle in the middle of the forest. Unfortunately for him, he is caught in a trap and knocked out. He is found by a mysterious woman known as the Phoenix. She is immediately drawn to him and decides to heal him. The only problem being that strangers are not welcome in her town. She knows that if people know he is there, they will immediately want to kill him or extradite him. Will she be able to keep him safe?

Their love has started in a dark compartment and it was one of the most beautiful love stories ever. Every story has an end, no matter how long the story is the end will come for sure. But after the end of something, there's always a new start! . There's an arabic version of this story

I wanted to do a series based just on Can's flashbacks. Rather than getting his memories back all at once, he gets a few at a time, in little flashes, mostly when he is with Sanem. Since episode 49 didn't give us any flashbacks at all, I thought it would be a good idea to re-write some of the scenes in that episode to show him getting his memories back slowly. Hope you enjoy!

August 5/19 Update: I have added Part Two (previously published separately) to this story, and added a new part three from Can's POV. Original: With only two episodes of Erkenci Kuş left, I have no idea how the writers will resolve the amnesia trope - I have even less of an idea why they rolled out the trope in the first place. This is my idea of a possible resolution. Realizing that she cannot force Can to remember, or force him to fall back in love with her, Sanem decides to give Can space to decide what and who he wants. It breaks her heart, but she knows that, while she will always love him, she can't make him love her.

These are short stories I've written of certain Can and Sanem scenes that I wished had gone differently (from episode 43 and onward). They are written from my point of view, and my ideas of what should have been said between our two lovers when they were in that moment.
