Your prospects are limited when you don't exist, but Sang Sorenson has been getting by as a cashier in a grocery store after dropping out of high school. Most days, she's just glad to have some independence, but she's been drifting through her life for two years, too alone to realize she's lonely. Then, late one Sunday night someone comes through her line with more apple pie than one man should be able to eat. The next day, she finds herself helping a young girl with a ...delicate purchase that the girl's older brother and his friend can't handle. And after a close call at home, she seeks help at a diner that recently opened down the street. It's been over a year since the Blackbourne team shattered into three separate teams, and they've all been dealing with the aftermath of a broken family. Though the new Lee and Taylor teams have done well for themselves, things just aren't the same. Then Sean stops by a little mom-and-pop grocery store after a long shift and discovers their bakery section. Kota and Nate take Jess bra shopping, and the cutest girl they've ever seen intervenes when they are less than helpful. And Luke finally meets someone who values pancakes as much as he does...possibly more. And it's barely even Tuesday. ~oOo~ This is a reverse harem fanfic based on C.L. Stone's Ghost Bird series. Be warned, I don't do trigger warnings on individual chapters and this is a Ghost Bird story: there is physical and emotional abuse, implied and overt; there are nine men interested in one woman (#whychoose) and sometimes each other; and the language used is appropriate for mature readers only. Not my circus, not my monkeys. I don't own any of these characters, The Academy, or Charleston, SC. I'm not making any money off of this. Liberties were taken with the legal and medical professions, but I tried to be as accurate as possible.

The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist. Sequel to "Splintered" ~oOo~ This is a reverse harem fanfic based on C.L. Stone's Ghost Bird and Scarab Beetle series. Be warned, I don't do trigger warnings on individual chapters and this is a Ghost Bird story: there is physical and emotional abuse, implied and overt; there are fourteen men interested in one woman (#whychoose) and sometimes each other; and the language used is appropriate for mature readers only. Not my circus, not my monkeys. I don't own any of these characters, The Academy, or Charleston, SC. I'm not making any money off of this. Sang Sorenson has been chewed up and spit out by life too many times. Abused by her stepmother. Neglected by her father. Hated by her sister. Bullied by jealous girls, Ignored by nearly everyone else in high school Sang never gave in. Even when, on the eve of her eighteenth birthday, her family abandoned her with naught but a backpack and a single suitcase containing all of her worldly possessions. Alone, bruised, and tired of living like this, she took her meager belongings and the few thousand dollars she'd saved all her life she started over, determined to make the best of her freedom. Three years, a job, months of therapy, and an apartment later she's finally whole for the first time in her life and then 14 wonderful men fall into her calm world, shaking things up once more, his time for the better. Sang, the blackbourne boys, the toma team and all related academy characters belong to the magnificent C.L. Stone. Everything else belongs to me.

Sang knew going against her step-mother was useless. It would only bring more punishments- more bruises to hide and more questions from those who seen them. But still, she can't see the old Sang Sorenson that looks back at her through the mirror anymore. Because it's not her face. It's Seth Sorenson's. His green eyes, his short blonde hair, his leather jackets and fake smiles. *ROMANCE, GENDER-BENDER, FANFICTION, HUMOR, REVERSE HAREM* Will be updating sporadically; like my other stories. Please be patient. (I do not own the Academy, Ghost Bird or Scarab Beetle series. All rights go to C.L. Stone.) WARNING: Graphic scenes- may contain triggers. Rated K+ for language and themes, may become M in later chapters. SPOILERS for those who haven't caught up with the series yet.

Sang never had a normal life. From abusive and neglectful parents to her only friend being a demon, she's always been abnormal. She never expected 8 other boys, though, to swoop in and take over her life. Her dead life, that is. I do not own the Ghostbird series or any of the characters in it. All rights go to the author C.L. Stone.

Don't talk to strangers. That warning had never been more true, especially when Sang encounters an odd woman outside the closest gas station. Who would have known how quickly that old woman could turn her world upside down? Sang hadn't meant to summon a spirit. Especially not nine of them. (Most characters/situations/locations are based off C.L. Stone's Ghost Bird series.)

Sang's father walked out on them less than a year after they moved to Charleston and she is left with her irresponsible older sister and mentally unstable mother. Since her mother is too sick to work she charges Sang rent each week. Due to her mother's demand that she be home by five every day, it is impossible for her to continue high school. It's not easy to find a job when your a high school drop out, are technically a minor and don't have any valid identification. She often has to resort to pickpocketing to make ends meet. What will happen when this catches the attention of the Academy and the Toma Team are brought in to handle it. The story is meant to examine what it would be like if Sang was the main character of the Scarab Beetle series, both the Scarab Beetle and Ghost Bird series belong to C. L. Stone.

"You know that person you see who stands to the side at dances or parties? The one you automatically overlook because they're either shy, nervous, or just plain weird? That's me." With no friends to call her own and a popular, older sister who wants nothing to do with her, Sang is a loner. An introvert by heart, she's shy, clumsy, and socially awkward at best. Some people consider her an "outsider" while others don't even know she's there; she's invisible to the world and she's content in it staying that way. But while she hides behind her too-big glasses and baggy clothes with her head down, for the first time in forever, someone notices her. They begin showing her what it means to be loved and how family is a choice. ------------------------------------------------------------- This is an AU fanfiction of CL Stone's Ghost Bird + Scarab Beetle series. Special thanks to @Docistheboss for the book cover~
