This is a Percabeth AU (Alternate Universe) with some Spy School mixed in as well. If you haven't read Percy Jackson or Spy School, that's okay, you don't need to read those to understand this story. In the kingdom of Astére, Annabeth, despite being a twelve-year-old girl, is a spy-in-training. She attends a school of wannabe spies where she gets her spy education. Her family is long renowned for their work in the spy business. She has had a normal life, or as normal as her life can get, until she is sent on her first mission. Now Annabeth, along with her friends, must go out in the field for the first time. The mission: go undercover in the castle and root out the rebel spies. Will she manage to carry out her duty or will she fail and let everyone down? Will she succumb to the pressure of living up to her family's expectations? The fate of many lives are resting on her shoulders, and whether she likes it or not, she must fulfill her duty. That is, until Percy begins acting weirdly, and then they don't seem to have any problem in that department. Light is shed upon aspects of Percy's past and Annabeth realises that the man she married isn't who she thought he was at all. Thrust into the path of danger and a realm of uncertainty, Annabeth finds herself unable to let go of the man she once considered the love of her life despite everything telling her that she should. A story of rediscovery and proving that falling in love the second time is even better than the first.
