Dan decides to go see an old friend he knew before they moved and that was a boy named Dexter. And while he was visiting they run into robots that show up to destroy the one that saved the future. Dan and Verago just finished an adventure in the year 1947 and when they return home they noticed that their neighbor Kali had company. Dan and Verago end up seeing David and Cynthia again and they get to meet their kids for the first time. David and Cynthia are taking a trip and they are leaving their kids with their aunt Kali while their gone. While their there Dan and Verago learn that the kids names are Cali, CJ, and Ron.

Dan is at home when an old friend comes to visit and they talk and catch up. Dan's old friend is named Miley Grey and she comes to visit. As they talk and hang out she asks what happened to their friend Matilda years ago. And Dan wondered the same thing and so his bracelet sends them both back in time. When they arrive they see that they are in their past selfs body and they still have all their older selfs memories. They then relive their past and help Matilda stop the principal.
