This is the second book to the first book. The Alpha Female. If you haven't read the first book I recommend that you do. Cassidy and Drew are the kids of the Alpha. Drew finds it hard for him to make friends because of who his mom is. They all fear him without even knowing him. Derek is there to comfort Drew through everything but Drew still wants a friend. Caleb has to fight his insane wolf urges as Cassidy gets older. It also becomes known that she has the same powers as her mother. She struggles to control them as she gets older and pushes herself away from her friends just so she doesn't hurt them. They aren't the only ones with struggles this time around though. With old and new enemies, this could get complicated for the young wolves. toon in for their journey. *mostly told from Cassidy's P.O.V.*

It's been well over a year since Samantha Sumner left everything behind to start anew with her father. Attending a private school in peace, Samantha lives a drama free life with her small circle of friends as she nears her eighteenth birthday. However, she can't run from her troubles without them hitting her full force, unravelling all that she's tried to forget about. Unfortunately, fate doesn't want Samantha to live a normal life, as it throws back all the people that she's worked so hard to get rid of. Within the sequel to Tainted Innocence, Samantha Sumner will ultimately learn why you can't run from your problems. A story of relationships, renewed heartbreak, confused emotions, and the strength of forgiveness follows the romantic voyage Samantha will take in order to truly be happy. This is a girlxgirl story. This is also Book Two: Tainted Growth to the Tainted Innocence series. I strongly recommend readers to read Book One: Tainted Innocence in order to follow this story.

She was the type to stare herself in the mirror and see someone else stare back. Someone who was free and light, being able to spread her wings like an unbound angel. She was neither chained to Heaven nor Hell. Howbeit, no matter how far she reached into the mirror, she could never step through as her ball-and-chain presented itself in the form of a crown. She was a princess with two faces, desperately trying to have a sense of freedom outside of her royal obligations. She found it in the form of a weakness: a passion with another human being. Her love for him and ballet had kept her chin high; her crown not slipping from her pastel hair. So why, why did it suddenly become so hard when a gothic gymnastic back-flipped into her life? Why were her heartstrings being tugged on by someone of her same gender? Why was it suddenly so difficult, so strenuous to keep living in her pastel world when this mysterious girl brought such bright colours with her? TRIGGER WARNING: Mentions of sex, suicide and other mature themes will be contained within this book. Read at your own discretion.
