*Want a paperback copy? Go here: https://goo.gl/forms/lhJx5X63RTGG90T93 (The link is also on my profile)* Terrified of being sent off to marry a man who would only control her, Saeran Sinclair disguises her identity by posing as a male. Instead of being the renowned beauty that she really is, she must help her sister gain "The Lion" of the Highlands favor, even though the feat seems impossible, for every word and look coming from him shows just how feral the man really is. A deadly Highlander shouldn't be forced to marry-but that's exactly what's happening to Kane "The Lion" Shaw. With a new squire, a leper of a lady living in his keep, and his neighboring highlanders beginning to stir with unease, Kane has a lot on his plate. But a Highlander never surrenders...and ignores the odd feelings his squire stirs inside of him. When Saeran, posing as a squire, is forced to be around "The Lion", the roughest, meanest, most barbarian man she's ever met, she is sure her ruse is hanging by a thread. When he begins to suspect what she really is, she makes the most dangerous decision...and finds that this Highlanders touch makes it harder and harder to deny what is happening between them, even while danger wars around them. *** Just a few intro chapters - full book available on Amazon, or you can read the original version for free on Wattpad *** Pay your stake. Roll the dice. Do the dare. Getting divorced at twenty-five sucks. Teaching over-confident rich kids when you ought to be designing handbags for Mulberry sucks. In fact, every single aspect of Daisy Fitzgerald's life is one big fail. But when Xander, a veritable Knight-in-Shining-Cricket-Pads, knocks her off her wedge heels, Daisy topples into his world of It-girls, players and Michelin stars. At a party, buoyed up on champagne and escapism, Daisy agrees to play Forfeit, the ultimate game of dares. Round One was a fun way to pass an hour, Round Two wasn't for the faint-hearted, but no one wants to stake £5,000 to play Round Three, not until they're persuaded by a vitriolic social media campaign that's about to go viral. £25,000 is up for grabs, but the game's called Forfeit for good reason. Blackmail, betrayal, revenge... move over Gatsby, there's a new bunch of bored young things in town. *** Caution. Forfeit's rated at PG-13, but it does contain strong language and scenes of a sexual nature. Just sayin'. Cx *** Being open and honest, I'll only be posting the first 30% or so of #Forfeit here. If you like it and want to read the rest, it's available on Kindle. It won't break the bank - 77p, 99c are the launch prices and the Kindle App is free! Keep posted for chances to win signed copies and Kindle freebies. If you feel cheated that you can't read it all for free, the first/ original draft of Forfeit is still on here. It's posted as a book in its own right, but it's also at the end of the new #Forfeit chapters in this version. Thanks for reading. Cx

(discontinued) In the Shinobi World, a scarce amount of humans believe in the existence of yōkai. Hatake Kakashi is not one of them. However, he isn't exactly the type to bluntly state that they don't exist. After all, a world wherein peace is not a word that can easily be understood is a world with a whole lot more mysteries and therefore, also cannot be understood. During a mission in the Land of Iron, Kakashi, Obito, Rin and Minato find themselves crossing paths with a girl no more than two years younger than the three children. Unexpectedly, the bizarre and cruel weather hasn't killed her yet. It is no surprise that this young girl named Setsuko arrives in The Village Hidden in the Leaves with Team Minato and surprises even the Third Hokage with her long black hair, dark blue eyes, a ghostly white-- almost transparent complexion and a kimono of the same color as snow. Of course, no one really believes that Setsuko could actually be what she could be suspected of being: A Yuki-musume. But in a world where mysteries are meant to be kept, how can anyone say that the ethereal races of the yōkai are non-existent? As Rin, Obito and Kakashi teach her about everything there is to know about living in the village, the silver-haired young boy finds himself intrigued by basically everything relating to Setsuko. Although, with all of the fear Setsuko has always bottled up inside of her, it would sound much easier to befriend her than to actually be able to do it.

If you'd just stop breathing, and listen; You'd hear a heart pounding, strong pine leaves rustling in the wind, fairies dancing on the cool air, wolves scuffling beneath the shadows, and even the occasional growl of an unknown creature. Adallion lives in Oreilan; Eastern Village of the Great Forest. What lies beyond is yet to be explored, however... the dangers are experienced everyday. When suddenly, after decades of silence and discreetness, the beasts are snatching away innocent children in the light of day. Never before had the devil creatures been so brave, or outspoken. Adallion always adored the forest, in spite of it's dangers. But who was the man whom saved her life, and concealed himself from her? Whom are the dark men, hidden beyond black fog with shining blades? Who are the beasts, evil and horrid, snatching innocence without hesitation? And what about the sudden visits from the White Knights, whom portray kindheartedness and protection, yet reek of suspicion? Is it possible... there's a connection?

Six teens are devoted to a game with one rule: If a player gets tagged, they must change their life within the next fifteen minutes. The better the player, the bigger the change. One might give their car away, or punch the school bully. Another might change identities or sacrifice their virginity. Anything to keep evolving, to avoid fitting into a label or caring about the junk they own. But their quest for enlightenment has taken a rotten final turn - one of the players has murdered the game's creator, the teen prophet (cult leader?) David Bloom. Our narrator is being framed for the crime; can he clear his name and discover which of his lifelong friends is the murderer before he takes the fall? [sic] is a gritty teen murder mystery that delves into the psychology of enlightenment among the criminally dysfunctional.
