Dean Winchester has been going to Souix Falls High School ever since moving to his sort-of-uncle Bobby's place in his sophomore year with his brother Sam. He doesn't expect his senior year to be that enjoyable, but then he meets Castiel Novak, new senior and mute since he was seven. Dean has never fallen for someone harder, and Castiel doesn't seem to want anything to do with Dean. Cas asks Dean to stay away from him, but Dean just can't help himself...

Cas has been dating Aaron for six years now, and he loves it. Mostly. Sometimes Aaron loses his temper, but it's okay. He still loves Cas. Cas just has to make sure he doesn't upset Aaron. But one day Cas meets Dean. Dean is funny and beautiful and confident, and Cas likes him a lot. They start to hang out more and more, and Cas starts to realize that relationships don't have to be the way his is. But he can't leave Aaron, they love each other. Right?

"So, I know Mr. Shurley said this was for English," Dean spoke, making Castiel's stomach flutter. How could a voice do that? He thought. "But I was going to ask you to- uh-" he rummaged in his backpack and took out a crumbled piece of paper. "Do you take Latin? And I also need help with Math." Cas is lazy about maintaining his car. As long as it runs, he ignores all of its problems, but the check oil light is coming on and the car is making weird noises, so he bites the bullet and heads to the auto shop by his house. The mechanic that works on his car is downright gorgeous, but Cas is in a bad mood and insults the man when he tries to politely tell him about other problems he found. Can Cas fix this?
