[Book 1 of the Roller Coaster Series] Elite Academy is home to various teenagers from around the globe; rich or poor. Jade Thirlwall considers it her first home compared to her actual home in South Shields. She finds it warm and comforting until suddenly it all starts falling down around her: the musical she cares so much about is put on the line, backstabbing friends, hopeless love, snogging sessions, drugs, sex, hospital visits, bar fights, crying mania, revision and problems that aren't even hers. When someone says 'average American teenage girl', everyone has a different image in mind. There are the parents who picture them always in love, the teachers unable to perceive them doing anything but drinking & smoking, and the teenage guys thinking of them as machines invented to shop, and have sex with. As an outsider however, I guess my perspective would be different. Which is why if anyone asked me who I thought the average American teenage girl was, I’d say Miley Johnson. Actually, no. Its hard to picture a girl rich enough to buy the entire city of Rome, as average. So she may not be so average, & she's anything but ordinary. But how can I describe Miley without it seeming like she murdered me while I was halfway through writing this- and after that- began praising herself? Answer: it's probably impossible. But Miley Johnson really was 'good' in the true sense of the word. Despite being rich, she's totally down to earth & not at all like the bitchy little party girl you'd expect her to be. Umm... Lemme think. What more do you (hopefully interested readers) need to know about Miley before beginning to read this killer fanfic (if I do say so myself)? Oh ya, she's hot as hell and is, of course, dating the sexiest guy at school: Dean Somers. Anyways, now I should probably give you the gist of the story: Although Miley does have what is an arguably perfect life, there is one particular wish of hers that hasn’t yet come true. Could this finally be the time when everything falls into place? Let's see what happens when she meets everyone's favorite boy band- One Direction. Well not meets, but watches them perform live, which is good enough. But as they say- be careful what you wish for. Because something incredible happens at the concert, that occurs only once in a million lifetimes. Certainly no girl would ever expect this to happen to her. But is she ready for it? A new life, with new friends, and SO MANY new complications...
