Short modern AU story about Dany and Jon on their first new year's eve as a couple.

The story starts in 8x05 when Dany came to the King's Landing in Drogon's back to burn down the city but something changes her mind. Jon knows the truth about his parentage and how will this affect his relationship with Dany?

Daenerys Targaryen is determined, successful, confident, and in addition to all this a beautiful and special woman. She works as a marketing manager at Stark's Media Holding where the leaders appreciate her and trust her decisions. She is the heart of the company, and she always wanted that. Since she was a child she wanted to achieve that thing... success and recognition. Everything is perfect in her life except for one thing. Her love life does not exist, but she doesn't really care about it. She never needed a man to be happy. Her CEO Ned Stark trusts her totally, and that is why she wants her to be the mentor of his spoiled and boastful son, Jon. He wants her to teach his son, and introduce him to the business. He wants his son to inherit the company, but Jon did not show any interest in that thing. He only cares about women and partying. Jon is a clever, intelligent, and creative man, but his nature drives everyone crazy... and he doesn't really like rules and orders. Especially not from a woman.

There is no one else better than him in the business. He never failed. He always fulfilled all his commissions in a perfect way. His name almost became a legend. He considered himself as an objective and serious man and he exactly looked like that way. Nothing ever could distract his attention about his task... they paid him and he kept those people alive and save. That was the reason why Mr. Targaryen needed him. He was trustable and doesn't ask too much. He needed him to keep his eyes on his daughter. Daenerys. They lost her mother in a tragic massacre and he needed to know her daughter won't get into any trouble until she married the other wealthy family son. She was of course not that easy to handle. She had her own dreams and plans for her future and that doesn't include that forced marriage. She turns Jon Snow's life upside down... they were so different and meanwhile... he started to feel something for her that he shouldn't feel. She was not an option for him. She was just a job... but can he comply with the lines and resist to that beauty?

The title says all. My take on what I want to happen during Season 8 of Game of Thrones. Probably not going to happen but hey, a girl can wish. What happens when Dany makes it to Winterfell? Will she be accepted? How will Jon react to Bran's visions? In this story, these questions will be answered and more. (Okay I suck at writing summaries. Give it a try.) Note: It will go years into the future if things go to plan. Started on Friday, October 13, 2017.
