A collection of one-shots/drabbles that I have written over the years. Hopefully some will get to be turned into full stories one day but for now, this is somewhere safe for them to sit.

Miquel is accidentally best friends with a demon. A demon who is searching for humans to form a court to help him gain power. As they go through teenagerhood, hormones change all of them and its very hard to remain friends with someone determined to control your life. Still, it's not like he has much choose anymore. Author Notes: Typing up my notebook with a good chunk of this stuff written up. Enjoy.

New Babylon. One of the main trade hubs for the planet Thomia and definitely not the cleanest city in the world. It was very corrupt in fact. Gangs ruled the landscape, and Jonah Hill was stuck there now. Years prior he had worked undercover and found himself dragged into his blood right. Now, now he's back and the gang he swore allegiance to are happy to reinduct him into being a slum rat. After reminding him that you don't snitch on people, of course. Painfully. Still. The Enforcers aren't going to let go of one of their agents so easily. Especially one as resourceful as Hill. Author Note; Why am I uploading another story when I have half a dozen not yet completed? In this City, you don't need any family, friends, or lovers. Control gives birth to you, Tutors raise you, Cora assigns you a profession and some virtual friends to keep you company. Even though you are surrounded by other people every day, you will never truly get to know them. You don't need to because all citizens are equally your friends in a cordial, no staring in the eyes, no feelings involved sort of way. There will be no heartache in your life because there will be no feelings to get hurt in the first place. You will be safe and peaceful your entire existence. Isn't that great? Oh, and don't smile too much, don't frown at others, don't yell, don't cry, control yourself, you're not an animal. But don't worry if you lose control -- there are always eyes on you and those eyes are trying to figure out what you think and feel at all times because they care about you as they do about all other citizens. Under the loving Eyes of Control and Cora, anyone can be marked as a potential threat to others, to themselves and sometimes, to the city. Wardens investigate those who are marked so if you break any rules expect some guests in the near future.
