Kieran, a young man barely of age, discovers he has the power of necromancy. All necromancers through time have been cruel and merciless killers; their evil deeds now associated with their power. This power over the dead is feared by all and ultimately deemed evil, a belief unanimously agreed upon by everyone. Therefore, all wielders of this power obtain an automatic execution. Can he keep his gift a secret until he learns to wield it? Will his secret be discovered and his death sentence given? Will he even live out the week? Will Kieran follow the path of his predecessors?
