"I'm not sure what you mean," I said. "I mean that I'm helplessly in love with you and I need you to know that," he said softly, making his way towards me. I felt my breathing quicken as he came closer and closer. When he got to me he raised a hand and placed it on my cheek, leaning in to place a small kiss on my lips.

*** The smell of grass, smoke and alcohol filled my nose. I was dizzy from the hours of standing around, the buzz of the day still there. I looked beside me to see him looking at the stage in awe, singing along to the songs. Drops of rain falling from hair and a smile spread across his face. It was all worth it.
