"I saw something," Minnie whispered, "I think something bad's gonna happen, Steve. I don't know when, but I just know something bad is gonna happen."
"Yeah, something bad might happen. But, we'll get through it."
"I don't know," Minnie shrugged, "seems like something out of our control. Time always passes me by, and all I can do is watch, I never seem to be able to stop it."
"Well," Steve paused, "maybe that's the point."
"What does that mean?"
"Time is about how we spend it, I guess," Steve offered, "who we choose to go through it with, how we use what little time we have here, you know?"
Minnie hummed, mulling it over. "Yeah, I guess so."
"But, if something bad does happen," Steve paused, "I'll be there."
"Is that a promise, Steve Rogers?"
"Yeah, that's a promise Minnie Reynolds."

Shunned since she knew how to breathe, Minnie Reynolds always knew she was different. Born on Halloween in a religious southern town meant only one thing, she was cursed. The town and Minnie's family called her 'devil child', 'freak', and much more she didn't care to know.
But, still, Minnie persevered with her faith and sheer determination to do good. The only issue? Minnie dreamed vividly in bright colours, of events which hadn't occurred yet. At first, she though it was a divine blessing from the Lord. But, her parents quickly beat that idea out of her.
After listening to a vision and preventing a death, Minnie finds herself chucked in the looney bin, dignity stripped clean from her. Minnie promises herself to never listen to another vision, only she breaks that promise after getting out.
Minnie finds herself in Brooklyn, in the company of a couple who had warmer hearts than the food they made. She quickly befriends two men named Bucky Barnes and Steve Rogers, who show her that life is about more than just survival.
But Minnie's visions act up again, and she isn't sure what to believe.
