When your born you see things, first the blinding light of the hospital cealing lights then the face of the doctor who helped birth you. Suddenly you are raised from where you were and see a new face, the face of your mom. You know how her voice sounds like so you recognize who it is when she speaks to you. Now Imagine you have limited time, only a few moments to remember how everything and everyone looks like in the room before it turns black, before you can only see them through foggy glass. Davon Walek lost his eye sight at age 4, In the last moments before the world went dark he stared at the ceiling waiting for everything to fade into the growing darkness. He listened as the birds tweeted and as the neighbor mowed the lawn. He blinked and listened until all he could do was listen.
