"Your name is Kenneth Kentucky and you work at McDonalds?" I glared at him, "Would you like Fries with that?" He began laughing hysterically and I sighed impatiently, waiting for him to stop. Suddenly, he stopped and then, putting both his hands on the counter, staring right into my eyes, he whispered, "I'd like Fries with you." My eyes widened as it slowly registered that Golden Boy McHarden had just openly flirted with me.

Lance is expecting a new roommate, hoping that the teen will be able to look past his ADHD, and become a good friend. He wasn't expecting an emo kid, with a mullet and achluophobia. But hopefully, the two of them can learn to get along after a power outage. Or, perhaps not, who knows. (All character's belong to Dreamworks, I don't take credit for them.)

It forces the Lions and Castle from the stream and separates them throughout the depths of space, Lance alone in the dark. Floating in empty nothingness with a dead lion around him, Lance finds Blue's communications fried, unable to contact the rest of the team. Who is to find him, but a faction of the rebellion, including one out-of-place and very-much-human Matthew Holt? This is shaping up to be more of an adventure than Lance anticipated. She does try to help some because she pities him. Keith doesn't like to talk about the abuse so he keeps quiet. The only person who knows is his best friend, shiro. Keith prefers to keep to himself and only talks to shiro, but that changes when shiro drags Keith along to a group get together and lance gets curious. Lance loved his friends. They were like his family, irreplaceable and comforting, and Lance made sure they knew it. However, after a run-in with a Druid, Lance has started acting... different. He's rude, blunt, paranoid, and, with no other way to put it, cruel. Desperate to figure out what's possessed their friend, the paladins realize; Lance has become trapped within his own mind.
