Annabelle doesn't believe in fate, but ever since the day that June walked into her life, she's been tempted to change her mind. __________________________ Annabelle Yun is an avid gardener and painter who works at the local tea shop, smiling and brewing tea for all who enter. But Annabelle is struggling- through her job, through her college classes, and through her life. She knows the names of every single customer who walks through the stained glass door, but when she leaves the shop at night, she goes home to a lonely dorm. She has no real friends. Enter June Johnson. June is a bright, rowdy social butterfly who is never seen without a small herd of close friends. She both easily laughs and inspires laughter. And when her friend drags her into the local tea shop for a drink, she's immediately enamored with the girl behind the counter. Quick to flirt, she catches Annabelle's attention, but the latter girl is not so easy to crack. Over the course of several months, books are swapped, quips are uttered and most of all, many, many cups of tea are brewed. But how many cups of tea does it take to get a girlfriend? __________________________ This story is cross-posted on RoyalRoad under username @teenytilly

Where his profession should have been stated, the card read 'Destroyer of Worlds'. Nodding slowly, I pocketed the card."
