Keith was the school loser. No friends, just him. He was bullied by Lance, both boys in 11th grade. Lance is hiding something though... Lance's High School is just what you would expect. Lance is in that one group, with his best friends, Pidge, Hunk, Allura, and Shiro. They call themselves "voltron". When the School " Battle of the Bands" roles around, they decide that this is their chance to prove they are worth something to everyone else, instead of "that group".
