It's so close! The first time that humanity will ever go to the very core of the Earth, and back up to the surface! Not going to lie, but I'm a little nervous. The whole ceremony and stuff is going to happen, and then we just begin digging down to the core. Our team, Nate, Jakob, Carter, and I, have worked for months with several companies to fund this mission. Nate is the Captain of the ship, Jakob is the directions and positions locator, Carter is the maintenance support and repair, and finally I'm the supply manager. We are now loading the supplies in the ship, waving families and friends goodbye. (Unless you haven't known yet, this was a science project I did for Geography.) (Might need some edits.)

Emma Woodhouse, aged 20 at the start of the novel, is a young, beautiful, witty, and privileged woman in Regency England. She lives on the fictional estate of Hartfield in Surrey in the village of Highbury with her elderly widowed father, a hypochondriac who is excessively concerned for the health and safety of his loved ones. Emma's friend and only critic is the gentlemanly George Knightley, her neighbour from the adjacent estate of Donwell, and the brother of her elder sister Isabella's husband, John. As the novel opens, Emma has just attended the wedding of Miss Taylor, her best friend and former governess. Having introduced Miss Taylor to her future husband, Mr. Weston, Emma takes credit for their marriage, and decides that she rather likes matchmaking.

"If there is one thing I remember vividly from my vague childhood days, it's them. Twelve amazing stars that shone so bright against the backdrop of the velvet nightsky. I loved watching them, loved to see how they shone. Even though it made no sense, I felt like they were somehow a part of me. How familiar they felt. How warm those stars made me feel. Almost like being home. Pathetic, right? It's ridiculous, I know, but that didn't prevent me from crying when I witnessed the stars fall. One by one..."
