The sully family come to the Metkayina clan to seek a safe home for their family from the sky people. They must learn the ways of the reef people to fit in. Ao'nung Tsireya and Nylah'a are in charge of showing the Sully kids how to adapt to the reef. Nylah'a the oldest daughter of Ronal and Toniwari, catches the eye of a particular Sully boy. Oddly enough that Sully boy happens to also notice her too. I DONT OWN THE RIGHTS TO THE SCRIPT THAT I HAVE USED FROM THE MOVIE! The sully's lives have been through a lot with the attacks of Quaritch and moving homes and being welcomed into the Metkayina. Neteyam is in recovery after being shot during the war, Lo'ak blames himself for his brothers accident but the family doesn't look down on Lo'ak anymore his father sees him and he's less trouble. Kiri has a stronger connection to Eywa, helping to save her mother and sister as well as Aonung and Rotxo. Spider saved Quaritch and Quaritch will be back for revenge on the sully's. Tuk stays close to her mother and Neytiri protects her children while her children are growing and finding their mates with the Metkayina tribe.

After Neteyam's funeral ceremony, Kiri decides to visit Rotxo and his family to check in, only to find that her and her family were not the only one to suffer losses to the sky people that day.
