Princess Zelda and Champion Link must work together to defeat the upcoming calamity. Though tensions run high and the princess despises her knight, the two form an unexpected bond. They know they must work as a team with the other Champions, but without Zelda's sealing powers, the group is unsure of how they will win the battle against the ancient beast known as Calamity Ganon. Will Zelda's wisdom and Link's courage be enough... or will Ganon's power destroy all of Hyrule?

Her personal knight whose sole purpose is to protect her, whilst not uttering a single word. •○●•○• Zelda develops a deep habit of overthinking, because she feels she's failing her role as upcoming Queen of Hyrule, especially with the rise of yiga clan attacks after her mother's death. More pressure is added with the recurring topic of duties especially when Zelda finally let's loose of the kings standards and expectations-- especially when spending time with Link... who somehow has more in common with her than she thinks, despite him not saying a word. He remains a mystery to her. A mystery she hoped to solve as she slowly gets closer to him. °•○•○●° But as they open up and spend more time together, will the initial clash develop into Romance? Or will this be unacceptable since boundaries certainly exist-- especially with the rising expectation of marriage for Zelda. And more importantly- will he ever talk? Zelink AU Medieval Fanfiction Zelda, currently Princess of Hyrule wishes to see the world outside of the castle. Her father expects her to marry one of the chosen suitors to prepare Hyrule's next King, but she doesn't like the sight of any of them. Link is a Hylian knight with a tragic past. Being secretive and closed off is how he prefers to live. He has a quest he believes he must do alone-to find his older sister. But Hyrule is subject to an unknown danger, within itself. How will the mystery unfold and how will Zelda and Link achieve their dreams? I don't think I'm super great at medieval writing...(knowing the time period, vocabulary, descriptions, etc...) but I tried anyways! Sorry for the unappetizing description. Zelda and Link meet at school before a test. Link is severely sleep-deprived, and Zelda's friend is out sick. While usually an introvert, Link's tired brain seizes the opportunity to sit next to the girl he's noticed since school began. Completed, but not 'wrapped up' just a cute fluffy ending.
