Willow has few interests in this world. She likes to go to school to learn--not socialize, she likes to ride her four-wheeler, she likes to eat her dad's lemon-blueberry cookies--he makes them better than Mom, and oh, she likes to try to figure out what is wrong with her. She keeps seeing and hearing things that aren't there. During a family camping trip, an accident happens that changes her life in both a good way and a bad way. She meets some new guys from it, but it's like the whisperings and visions are amped up to a whole new level. She starts school in three weeks. Can she make some new friends? Also, possibly...can she figure out a way to deal with these new, stronger hallucinations so that she's not a curled-up, curse-slewing, psychotic mess for her sophomore year? These people, while living forever if not interrupted, are dying sooner than they know what to do with their abilities. Abilities that could not only get them killed, but kill them by itself.
